Community Action Opportunities desires to employ a knowledgeable, skilled, and licensed professional to evaluate the residential operations of heating/cooling systems. The employee will perform Evaluate, Clean and Tune (ECT) Inspections. These inspections consist of safety/ efficiency testing and cleaning, as well as adjustments of all system components, fuel supply, piping, exhaust venting, chimneys, and flues on all heating and cooling units present in the dwelling; repair systems when possible; determine equipment replacement specifications appropriate for the home. In addition to the technical skills, a successful applicant must thrive in a team environment and be capable of working with an array of customers.
Current Heating, Group 3, Class I or Class II license issued by the State of North Carolina
Valid NC Driver’s License: and ability to travel throughout the eight-county service area.
Compensation $22.43 to $25.25/ hourly (DOQ) plus competitive benefits including 401(k).
EOE and DFWP. No nights, on-call or weekend work.
